Famed interior decorator Miles Redd announces his new fabrics and wallpapers collection for F. Schumacher & Co. with colorful publication and ad featuring photos by Melanie Acevedo

Dashing interior decorator Miles Redd has just launched a fabrics and wallpapers line for F. Schumacher & Co., and the collection is being promoted through a beautifully produced newspaper-style print piece and ad featuring stylish photos of the designer and sumptuous interiors by Melanie Acevedo.

“Working with Miles Redd is kind of like walking into the greatest candy store of all time! He is just YUMMY!!!!!” says Melanie. “The ideas never stop coming out. His energy is infinite. He sweeps you away with his enthusiasm! And he is also the cutest boy EVER!”

Melanie worked on the project with Dara Caponigro, creative director of F. Schumacher & Co. “Dara and I have been collaborating for 20 years, and everything she touches is magic,” says Melanie. “But we really did have an extra-special experience on this project, and I know we owe it all to Miles!”

As for Miles, he couldn’t be more thrilled with the results, invoking a famous fashion-world film to describe his experience working with Melanie and Dara.

“I have a rich imagination, sometimes to the enhancement and often to the detriment of my life. But some dreams do come true, and the photo shoot, in all its sun-kissed glory, was one of those rare and delicious moments,” gushes Miles. “I felt like I stepped into a still of Funny Face, with Dara in the role of Vreeland, Melanie as Avedon, and myself as Audrey. Don’t mock me for telling the truth.”
