Not only is Neil Patrick Harris an author, a Broadway star, a movie and TV star, and the host of next year’s Academy Awards, he’s also the face of London Fog’s holiday marketing campaign.
The Emmy-winning actor and his husband, actor and chef David Burtka, are featured in the campaign, which was shot in New York City by Nino Muñoz. The ads mark the first time that Harris and Burtka have appeared together in a fashion campaign, which will launch in The New York Times on November 30 and will appear in the January issues of fashion and lifestyle magazines, including Vogue, InStyle, Men’s Fitness, and Vanity Fair.
For the ads, the dapper duo is captured in a series of timeless, classic portraits wearing tailored pieces from London Fog’s signature outerwear collection.
“We wanted a couple,” Dari Marder, chief marketing officer of Iconix Brand Group, told WWD in a November 12 story on the campaign, “and they to us really represented a modern iconic Hollywood couple.”
