“Since 1996, I have had the privilege of shooting more than 100 different projects for Entertainment Weekly, including 26 covers,” notes Art Streiber on the heels of the magazine’s big announcement that it will be moving its headquarters from New York City to Los Angeles. “I’ve photographed writers and producers, motion picture and television actors, late-night hosts, Oscar winners the morning after their big night, and multiple movie and TV cast reunions.”
“EW has taken me to New York City, Atlanta, Nashville, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Chicago!” he continues. “Thanks to the magazine, I’ve met Steven Spielberg, Jimmy Fallon, the Waltons, and the Muppets!”
And he was in excellent company through all of the above photographic adventures.
“I am indebted to the photography department at EW,” says Art, “who have been so supportive over the last two-plus decades, particularly Lisa Berman, Michele Romero, Richard Maltz, and Sarah Czeladnicki.”
As EW‘s New York era comes to an end, we take a look back at some of the many, many—did we mention there are a lot?—highlights from Art’s shoots for the magazine…
