Donald Glover‘s Atlanta, a series about two cousins navigating the rap scene in the titular city, made its debut on FX yesterday and has been earning raves from the press. GQ has called it a show “you need to watch,” while the Los Angeles Times praised it as a “beautifully played comedy of place and character” and Salon.com said the “dreamy, surreal series is infused with peculiar magic.” FX commissioned Matthias Clamer to shoot the key art and publicity for the series and to shoot promotional cinemagraphs.
