Katie Couric‘s charity Stand Up to Cancer has teamed up with Eyebobs, maker of reading glasses, for a limited-edition line of frames called Take a Stand, a portion of whose sales will benefit the cancer-research foundation, reports WWD.
“Eyebobs has pledged a minimum of $100,000 to the charity,” notes WWD. “For every consumer who posts an Instagram image of themselves in the glasses, accompanied by the hashtag #StandWithEyebobs, the eyewear firm will donate an additional $2 to the cause.” (For more info on the glasses, visit the Eyebobs website.)
