Luxury brand Louis Vuitton curated an exhibition titled “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” that was on view last month at the Grand Palais in Paris and featured a portrait of seminal rap artist Grandmaster Flash by Guzman. “The show retraces Louis Vuitton’s great journey from 1854 to today, through depictions of the Maison’s founding members and those who create the Louis Vuitton of tomorrow,” according to the brand’s website.
The exhibition will be traveling to Tokyo, and Assouline Publishing is planning an accompanying catalog that will also feature Guzman’s portrait, which was part of the 1996 Louis Vuitton centennial.
